NGOs, corporates, & citizens unite to raise over INR 3.40 crores and counting, for Social Good at the TCS World 10K Bengaluru 2025
Bengaluru, 22nd April 2025: The Tata Consultancy Services World 10K Bengaluru returns with renewed vigour for its 17th edition, having evolved into South India’s largest sporting platform for philanthropy. The philanthropy pillar for the TCS World 10K, driven by aidbees – the social kindness platform, has already raised over INR 3.40 crores, benefiting over 75 NGOs across various causes, uniting the social sector, corporates, and individuals in embracing the spirit of #EndendiguBengaluru — Forever Bengaluru.
Over the years, this event has seen phenomenal growth, proudly raising over 55 crores for more than 400 NGOs. This year, over 35 companies and more than 250 individual fundraisers demonstrated the power of philanthropy as they joined the biggest running festival in South India.
This year’s edition has seen a resounding commitment to social causes, with 35 corporates taking part and encouraging their employees to get involved. Many employees have gone the extra mile to support the causes they believe in. Several first-time fundraisers have also taken the initiative to raise money for more than one NGO, helping create a wider impact. Meanwhile, running groups from across Bengaluru have shown great enthusiasm by raising funds in large numbers.
The NGOs supported this year are working on important grassroots projects, including education, child welfare, environmental protection, and even organising India’s first T20 Blind World Cup for women. The causes of youth and education have received strong support from both companies and individuals. Notably, fundraisers under the age of 22 have together raised an impressive Rs. 20+ lakhs, showing how young people are leading the way in making a difference.
Adding to the excitement, Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya will also be participating in this year’s edition. Sharing his enthusiasm, he said, “I am so excited that the TCS World 10K Bengaluru is here. It is an annual event in Bengaluru and the most important event in the running calendar of our city. Thousands of people will be taking part as always, and I am excited to run alongside them.”
Also making a heartfelt impact this year are young fundraisers Nysa Bhattacharjee and Tia Bali, who together have raised an impressive Rs. 7 lakhs for the Neonates Foundation of India (NFI). Nysa, already a passionate advocate for neonatal care, draws her support from personal experience, having been born prematurely herself. She shared, “I was inspired by my mother but I was also inspired by myself, as I am also a NICU baby. I don’t feel different, I feel unique because of this. I would tell everybody to spread the news and encourage each other to raise money for a good cause.”
Among the standout contributors this year is ASM Technologies, the highest corporate fundraiser for 2025, supporting the GoSports Foundation. Preeti Rabindra, Director, ASM Technologies, shared her thoughts on the association: “The whole set-up is seamless, happens like clockwork, and it inspires so many people. It’s a significant part of the year—whether it’s running or fundraising. As an organisation, we always promote sports and being healthy. We’ve been associated with GoSports Foundation, and it’s been great to watch them grow.”
Zamrooda Khandey, CEO, aidbees, said, “With almost 35,000 runners, more than 250 fundraisers, and over Rs. 3.40 Crores raised already, Bengaluru has shown the power of community yet again. The TCS World 10K helps the NGOs in building their visibility in society and effectively maximising their donor base. I am thrilled for aidbees to be facilitating social change through the Run.”
Vivek B Singh, Joint Managing Director, Procam International, said, “Philanthropy has always been at the heart of the TCS World 10K Bengaluru, and it continues to be an inextricable part of our mission. This event goes beyond just running; it’s about making a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it the most. We are grateful to aidbees for their role in facilitating this powerful movement and helping amplify the impact of every contribution made.”
