ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಡಿ. ದೇವರಾಜು ಅರಸು ಭವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಳಿದಾಸ ಹೆಲ್ತ್ ಎಜುಕೇಷನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅಹಿಲ್ಯಾ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ವತಿಯಿಂದ 'ಪ್ರೇರಣಾ ಸಮಾರಂಭ' ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಈ ಸಮಾರಂಭವನ್ನು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯನವರು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು.    ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಎಂ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಉತ್ತಮ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಪಡೆದು,ಸಮಾಜಮುಖಿಯಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಭವಿಷ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಳಿಸಿದ ಸಂಪತ್ತಿನ ಅಲ್ಪಮೊತ್ತವನ್ನು ಸಮಾಜದ ಒಳಿತಿಗೆ ಬಳಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.  ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿವೇತನ ಪಡೆಯುವ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಉತ್ತಮ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಪಡೆದು, ಸಮಾಜಮುಖಿಯಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಬೇಕು. ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾತಿವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಿಂದ ಅಸಮಾನತೆಯಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.  ಸಮಸಮಾಜವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಇಂದಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಭವಿಷ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೇರಿದಾಗ, ಸಮಾಜಿಕ ಚಿಂತನೆಯಿಂದ ದುಡಿಯಬೇಕು. ತಾವು ಗಳಿಸುವ ಸಂಪತ್ತಿನ ಸಣ್ಣ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ಸಮಾಜದ ಒಳಿತಿಗಾಗಿ ಸದ್ಬಳಕೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಎಂದು ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ವೈದ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
