RajaRajeswari Dental College & Hospital celebrated its 29thGraduation Day with pride and grandeur on 13th September, 2025 at the ACS Convention Centre, located within the RRMCH campus. The event began at 10:00 A.M., bringing together graduating students, their families, faculty, and staff for a day of joy and recognition.
The convocation was presided over by Dr. A.C. Shanmugam, Founder Chairman, alongside Sri. A.C.S. Arun Kumar, President; Smt. Lalitha Lakshmi, Managing Trustee; Dr. S. Vijayanand, Executive Director; Dr. Edwin Devadoss, Dean; Dr. Girish. H. C, Principal, and other senior dignitaries of the institution.
The occasion was further honoured by the presence ofMadam Shobha Karandlaje, Honourable Union Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Labour and Employment, Government of India, and Member of Parliament, Bengaluru North Constituency, Karnataka, as the Chief Guest.
The program began with a hearty welcome address by Dr. Girish H. C, setting the tone for the ceremony. The Chief Guest was then felicitated by Dr. A.C. Shanmugam and other dignitaries.
In his presidential address, Dr. A.C. Shanmugam congratulated the graduates and expressed his pride in seeing a new generation of dental professionals step into society. He spoke about the growing importance of oral health in overall well-being and urged the graduates to recognize their unique role in preventive healthcare.He concluded by reminding them that their work not only restores smiles but also transforms lives, making dentistry a noble and vital service to humanity.
Madam Shobha Karandlaje delivered an inspiring address. She applauded the graduating students for their perseverance and academic excellence, urging them to channel their skills into service, innovation, and nation-building. She also emphasized the vital role of healthcare professionals in strengthening India’s future.
The ceremony reached its pinnaclewith the conferring of degrees, marking the culmination of years of dedication and hard work. Graduates expressed their gratitude to the faculty for mentorship and to their families for constant encouragement.
The event concluded on a note of pride and fulfilment, with the graduates stepping confidently into the next phase of their professional journeys.
